This will allow members to lock there own threads.

If the current member is viewing a thread, a new option on the "actions" drop down will appear named "Creator Lock". When clicked this will lock the thread. Similarly, if the thread is locked (by use of creator lock) then a "Creator Unlock" option will appear that allows the thread creator to unlock their thread.

Threads locked with Creator Lock will have all the appearances of being locked. The locked icon will show up on the top of the page while viewing the thread, and the quick reply will be removed for non-staff members.

Mods can unlock and lock all threads using creator lock, and the normal moderation "lock" option is still available.

Please note that if a thread is locked using the built in (ProBoards) lock system then only mods can unlock it. This just adds an alternative locking system so non-mods can lock their own threads.

When viewing the thread listing page. Threads that are locked by the thread creator will have "locked" in bold italics in front of the name.

You may change the "locked" text to anything you want with the user interface. It allowed full HTML so you can put images in.

For those of you who don't know how to put an image in with HTML

<img src="url to image" alt="alternate text in case image doesn't load" width="Not needed but if your image is to big this will help" height="same as width" title="tooltip that will show up when the image is hovered on">

It's great, except that the quote button circumvents this feature, as does probably the plugin I use to allow quoting from selected text. I can remove the quote button, but I don't want to remove the plugin I mentioned. Maybe if you could just remove the 'Create Post' button on replies to locked threads, that would do the trick. If there's a way for me to query whether posts are locked, that might allow me to do that myself, though (I'm not 100% sure).

Seems to work just fine!

Doesn't work properly on my forum. It displays the option, but when it's clicked, it doesn't do anything immediately; instead, for some strange reason, after more page navigation, the popup suddenly randomly comes up on some other page after several minutes. Will need fixed before I can use it.
